🐾💙 Another week in the life of our incredible PAWS dogs & practitioners 💙🐾

What a beautiful few days it’s been out and about supporting young people 💫

📚 Bailey has been spending time at Bell Farm, hanging out with a YP and bringing that calm, steady presence he does so well. Sometimes just lying side-by-side with a dog is exactly what’s needed 🐶✨

🎾 Teddy & Bonnie have been loving their sessions too — play, connection, regulation breaks and those quiet “just being” moments that help YP feel safe, settled and seen 💛

✂️ Bramley turned up looking extra smart after a fresh trim and got straight to work building trust and connection. There’s something special about those gentle check-ins and soft eye contact 🐕💬

🎨 And of course… artist Bandit has been at it again, creating another colourful masterpiece with a YP! Creative work with our dogs is such a brilliant way to spark confidence, expression and joy 🌈🖌️

So proud of our dogs and practitioners — the small moments, the big breakthroughs, and all the quiet magic in between 💙

PAWS CIC is growing, and we’re looking for Animal-Assisted Wellbeing Practitioners and Animal-Assisted Tutors in Surrey to join our incredible team.  
If you have experience supporting children and young people in education, social care, SEND, therapeutic or counselling roles and you’d love to work flexibly alongside your dog, we want to hear from you.

🎓 Animal Assisted Tutors 
Are you a qualified teacher, HLTA, or experienced one-to-one tutor?
Do you believe learning works best when it’s calm, relational, and built around the child?

PAWS CIC is recruiting Animal-Assisted Tutors to support learners who struggle to access traditional education, using creative, interest-based approaches while working alongside their own dog.

Last year we launched a campaign, which may of our followers and supporters very generously offered funding too - Unfortunately as we did not hit our target we weren’t able to access any of the funding 😭 So we have teamed up with to be able to accept and receive rolling donations for our Bridge the Gap Campaign and to help support our goals as a small CIC - Please if you can share our post and if you are in a position too donate - The link is in our bio and it is very easy to make a one-off or monthly donation and make a huge difference to the people we work with!!!

🎄🐾 Shoutout to Balto the Husky… and every single PAWS dog! 🐾🎄

As we head into the run-up to Christmas—a time that can feel exciting, overwhelming, and everything in between—we just want to celebrate our incredible dogs who show up for young people every single day.

From Balto and his beautiful calming presence, to all the PAWS pups offering:
✨ Animal-assisted support
✨ Fresh-air and motivation
✨ A shift in focus when things feel heavy
✨ Regulation when emotions are hard to navigate
✨ Space to talk… or simply a joyful distraction

These dogs are helping young people through one of the trickiest parts of the year, and we are so unbelievably proud of the work they do (and the humans who support them!).

Here’s to every wagging tail, every soft nuzzle, every moment of connection.
The magic they bring? It’s real. ❤️🐶
