We are delighted to announce that CrownWood Dental is now an official sponsor of The Sargam Group, a local not-for-profit voluntary organisation founded in 2016.

And a great cause it is too… 🎻

💬 But how did it all start?

In 2010, a group of sixteen like-minded friends came together to organise music concerts for the local communities of Bracknell, Slough, Crowthorne, Wokingham, Woking, Reading and adjoining areas of Berkshire. The group decided to “bring music to the community” and hosted its first concert in 2010 at Slough by inviting Dr Radhika Chopra, a famous ghazal singer from India. She was supported by local musicians. The concert was a huge success attended by 250+ people. This success motivated the group to host concerts each year thus promoting local, national and international singers and musicians.

Dedicated to bringing music 🎶 and the arts to the community, Sargam established the Sargam Performance Art Centre (S**C) at South Hill Park in 2021.

Through yoga 🧘‍♂️, dance 💃and vocal instrumental music classes 🎤, S**C promotes mental and general wellbeing for people of all ages across Bracknell and beyond.

At CrownWood, we are incredibly proud to support their inspiring mission and we encourage our patients to explore the work that they do.
