Another great smile makeover for this patient involving a few different steps to achieve a wonderful result.

They came to us unhappy with a few aspects of their teeth including discolouration, dark margins and black gaps in between. They were also unhappy with the triangular shape of their front teeth.

Dr Bob’s treatment plan included:
*Straumann Implant - to tackle a dying discoloured tooth
*Veneers - to improve the shape of the front teeth and black gaps
*Teeth whitening with Enlighten - standard course of 3 visits

The patient was extremely happy with the end result which provided them with the even, brighter, whiter smile they were looking for!

Using the latest digital X-ray as a standard part of our examinations helps us communicate with our patients better. Why might they be experiencing pain yet see no visible issue? Why is active prevention worth considering over waiting?

We helped explain to this patient removal or their wisdom teeth, showing signs of decay, would avoid damage to adjacent molars.

Blueberry Dental Surgery will be open until the 24th of December. We will be back to work on the 4th of January 2022.

During our holiday break we have made following arrangements for our patients with a dental emergency over the Christmas period. Please follow our instructions below:

- On the bank holidays: 27th, 28th of December, 3rd of January and weekends, please call 111 – NHS out of hours emergency helpline.

- On the 29th, 30th and 31st of December please call CrownWood Dental Practice on: 01344 482882.

- If your query can wait till the 4th of January, please leave a voicemail with your name and number and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

We have some exciting but equally sad news, as one of our long-standing members of the Blueberry team is leaving.
Our dearest Aggie has taken the big decision to return to her motherland – Poland!
She has been with us for over 8 years as a dental nurse and then worked her way to becoming a qualified dental hygienist.
As a well-loved member of our team, her smile lights up the room and we could always count on her to bring a touch of sparkle to the surgery!
Dr Bob and the team are very grateful to her and all the hard work she has put into Blueberry.
If anyone would like to say goodbye or send in their wishes – she will be working tomorrow (10th), Tuesday 14th and her last working day will be Friday 17th December.
We will all miss her so very much but wish her all the luck in the world with her move and new addition!
