As the weather gets colder, having support with meals can bring reassurance and routine — whether that’s help with shopping, preparing food, or simply sharing a friendly moment over a warm meal.

We’re looking for someone friendly, organised and full of initiative to help us run recruitment and community events across Farnborough, Bracknell & Watford.

You’ll coordinate pop-ups, coffee mornings, job events and more — plus source local freelancers and venues to help bring everything together. You won’t be doing everything yourself… you’ll be the organiser who makes it all happen 💚

This role is freelance, part-time (16–30 hours per week), £140+ per day — ideal for creatives, community organisers, event freelancers, or anyone who loves talking to people and making things happen.

📍 What’s involved:
• Planning 1–3 local events per territory
• Finding and liaising with local venues, partners and freelancers (e.g. leaflet distributors, stall hosts, entertainers)
• Light logistics and on-the-day support
• Working from a clear brief (you won’t be thrown in alone!)
• Helping people learn about working in care

📌 Location: Hybrid — covering 3 Home Instead territories (local travel required). The main base for the role will be our Bracknell office.

Christmas Kindness Appeal – Help Us Support Local Patients

This festive season, we’re collecting cosy comforts and new, unopened toys for Frimley Park’s Older Persons Unit and the Children’s Ward.

Items like warm socks, heatable beanie bags, hand creams or small pamper treats can bring real comfort to someone spending Christmas in hospital.

📍 Drop-off: Home Instead Ascot Office, 17, Unit D County Ln, Warfield, Bracknell RG42 3JP (Tesco Warfield)

💜 Remind older relatives, friends and neighbours to do the same.
💜 If something doesn’t feel right — it probably isn’t!
