Flu is circulating the community with high levels of hospital admissions. Saturday 13th is our final flu vaccination clinic at Spedan House. Eligible patients can book appointments by calling 01344 233 300 - option 1 0900-1700.

2025 Autumn Flu programme.
NHS reports show that flu season is arriving earlier than usual. If you are eligible andhave not had your flu vaccination yet, we still have flu stock at Spedan House, RG12 8TQ.
Our clinics are winding down, but we have space on the following dates for appointments and walk-ins
Thursday 20th November 10am-1pm
Saturday 22nd November 10am -1pm
Tuesday 25th November 10am - 6pm
Saturday 29th November 10am -1pm

Flu vaccinations can be given to eligible patients from the surgeries listed below
Binfield Surgery, Forest Health Group, Great Hollands (Dr Arora), Green Meadows surgery, King's Corner surgery, Magnolia House, and the Waterfield Practice.

2025 Spring Covid Booster programme:
Will be starting 1st April. Patients eligible for this booster are:
Adults aged 75 years and over
Residents in a care home for older adults
Individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed (as defined in Green Book, chapter 14a)
We are currently planning the days/hours of operation at the Bracknell & Ascot Health Hub - Spedan House, details will be published here once finalised. Invitations to book for eligible patients will start being issued week commencing 17th March.
Appointments will also be available to book on the NHS national booking system, these will be released 25th March.

Saturdays 7/14 December 0900-1330.
Our last day of vaccination for this Covid programme is 19th December, so please make sure you visit us before then.

If you are eligible for a flu vaccination and registered with one of the surgeries listed below, make sure you get your flu vaccination soon to ensure the best possible protection in the peak season of Jan/Feb. Invitations to book your Covid & Flu vaccination are starting to be issued from today to eligible patients with appointments starting 03 October 2024.
Our first cohort to be invited will be patients 75 years and over. Following NHS guidelines our appointments will be to prioritise co-administration of both vaccines at the same appointment.

Eligible patients from the surgeries listed below will be able to attend Bracknell & Ascot Health Hub (Spedan House) for their
Covid & Flu vaccinations.
Binfield Surgery, Easthampstead Surgery, Forest Health Group, Great Hollands Practice (Dr Arora), Green Meadows Surgery, Kings Corner Surgery, Magnolia House Surgery & Waterfield Practice.

NHS National Booking system for Covid only vaccination will open on 23rd September for October bookings this is available for all eligible patients (irrespective of GP Surgery) who wish to attend our centre for a Covid vaccination.

Other eligible cohorts will be invited to book in due course.

RSV invitations to patients 75-79 years of age have started being issued to patients in the Bracknell and Ascot areas to make an appointment for RSV vaccination in September at Bracknell & Ascot Health Hub ( Spedan House).
We will be administering RSV vaccinations on behalf of the following surgeries: Binfield Surgery, Easthampstead Surgery, Great Hollands - Dr Arora, Waterfield Practice, Forest Health Group, Kings Corner Surgery & Magnolia House.

New NHS vaccination programme against Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
Following guidance from the JCVI, from 1 September 2024 there will be 2 new vaccination programmes for RSV.

RSV has been described as ' maybe the most common virus you have never heard of'. Two of the most vulnerable cohorts will be offered the opportunity from September to receive a single jab vaccine.
Programme for Older adults aged 75-79 years
Programme for pregnant women to protect infants - eligible women who are at least 28 weeks pregnant - this will generally be offered through maternity services.

Bracknell and Ascot Health Hub working with a number of Bracknell and Ascot surgeries to offer the RSV vaccine to eligible patients in the month of September. Invitations will start being issued early next week.
