🌿 Reflexology + Outdoor Wellness 👣
Ready to feel more grounded, energized, and balanced this summer? Try walking barefoot outdoors!

☀️ Go Barefoot (Yes, really!)
Walking barefoot on grass, sand, or soil helps your body ground—reducing stress, boosting mood, and supporting natural healing. Think of it as nature’s reset button. Barefoot walking should feel natural, not forced.

Choose the Right Surfaces

🌿 Grass (especially morning dew)

🏖️ Sand (wet sand is great for arch support)

🧘 Yoga mats or clean indoor floors

🚫 Avoid hot pavement, gravel, or potentially sharp surfaces

🌼 summer vibe
✔️ Walk barefoot for at least 5 minutes during your day
✔️ walk by the sea barefoot and breathe deeply
✔️ Walk slowly and pay attention to how each step feels. Notice textures, temperature, and connection with the earth🌸

Your feet lead the way this season. 🦶🌳 Wash your feet after barefoot walks to remove dirt and bacteria. A warm Epsom salt soak can be a soothing bonus!

📅 Book your summer reflexology session today and take the first step toward whole-body balance!

Have you tried a self-foot-massage? It is incredibly soothing and uplifting!

Our feet work hard for us, and in winter months are mostly in layers of socks and shoes/boots/trainers/slippers, so giving them some TLC feels wonderfully liberating, especially if you cannot get to your favourite Reflexology session during the holiday season.

A self-foot-massage takes a few minutes, can be done before bed, or if you have time, give your feet a pamper with an aromatic foot soak followed be a gentle foot massage....after your soak, dry well, rub a little cream or magnesium butter into your feet, and massage slowly, with a gently firm pressure - you can do your own preferred sequence, or follow one or all of these self-help techniques:

When stressed or overwhelmed, many leisure activities and hobbies help positively impact our wellbeing. This includes our mental and emotional health, resulting in a much improved stress response and strengthened coping mechanisms.

The simple act of taking a little time for yourself with joy and compassion is deeply therapeutic, so give yourself a gift of some focused playtime during this holiday, and enjoy activities or a hobby because it resonates with you.

It can be as simple as reading a good book, playing board games with family members or friends, checking up on your garden, dancing in the kitchen to your favourite Christmas song, colouring in when you take a tea break (there are beautiful colouring books available at local bookstores) or putting on your trainers and going for a gentle stroll around the block, or as complicated as building intricate lego, knitting a challenging sweater design or composing a song....

Most of all - ENJOY!

Did you know that our sense of smell is one of the functions which develops before we are born? Hence our brain recognises smells very easily and in fact is very sensitive to smell. Smell plays a big part in our daily life, even if we are not aware of it - we all have our own scent, and our homes smell a particular way.

We all recognise numerous smells, some conjure up happy memories, and some may trigger negative ones. By avoiding the smells that may trigger us, and consciously surrounding ourselves with scents that we love and bring us joy, is one of the ways to address stress and anxiety management.

Essential oils are an effective aromatherapy tool to relieve the feelings of stress and anxiety,
as the airborne molecules stimulate our olfactory system, and immediately the brain via a variety of sensory receptors, interacting with the part of the brain which controls our heart rate, blood pressure, breathing and the stress responses, and these sensory data relay calming signals which help the body to relax, regulating and soothing our nervous system, easing the mind, and relieving any feelings of anxiety and stress.

So have fun this Christmas holiday and experiment which scent of the aromatic fruits, herbs and spices used in festive cooking and baking resonate with you the most and take them into the New Year! Most of all – Enjoy!

Please note! Essential oils are for topical use only!
Use 4 drops of essential oil of your choice in a room diffuser or a foot soak, 10 drops in a relaxing bath, or simply add a couple of drops to your body cream.

As a tonic during the upcoming festive feasting, consider a deliciously warming Rosehip Tea to support your digestive health as well as the immune and hormonal systems.

Rosehips have been used for medicinal purposes for thousands of years due to their many antioxidant properties, and were revered by the Egyptians, Native American Indians, Ancient Asians and European herbalists alike. There is also evidence that the Vikings used rosehips as a nutritious food source during the winter months and brought this knowledge with them to Britain.
Since ancient times, rosehips were also used in many remedies for menstrual complications and easing womens’ menopausal symptoms, and are still considered to be a superior female tonic today. They are known for cooling menopausal hot flushes and reducing profuse night sweats.

In the medical systems of both Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, Rosehips are used as a binding medicine which ‘cools’ the body and the intestines.

Rosehips are high in compounds with strong anti-inflammatory effects, including polyphenols and galactolipids. They are also rich in antioxidants, containing a high concentration of carotenoids, Vitamin C and E, beneficial in the reduction of joint pain, and for the support of our immune system, heart health, insulin regulation, weight management, skin health as well as our cellular health.

Enjoy!

Start cosying up before the holidays….

Deeply ingrained in the Danish lifestyle, HYGGE pronounced "hooga" is not an easy concept to explain, but in a nutshell, it is all about taking time to relax, away from the daily rush, creating space for people we care about, revel in a hobby or a good book, and enjoy life's quieter pleasures. It is now officially in the English dictionary, and the concept is growing in popularity globally.

The word 'hygge' dates back to around 1800, however, various definitions can be traced back to the Middle Ages, where a similar Old Norse word meant "protected from the outside world."

Hygge is about informal time with family and close friends - typically, the setting is at home or another quiet location, and usually involves sharing a meal together. There is no agenda, just to celebrate the small joys of life, and an opportunity to unwind and take things slow….

Calming Reflexology treatments help to enhance that total relaxation for maximum health benefits....
