At the family’s request, we sadly announce the passing of Mrs Elizabeth Hides of Devizes.

She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

The funeral service take place at West Wiltshire Crematorium Chapel on Tuesday, the 26th of May 11:30 am then onto Devizes Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her late husband.

This week with the help of Bown To Commemorate we conducted our 1st funeral service at our new ceremony room in Bradford on Avon. We seated just short of 40 guests for the service where we heard personal tributes and music and used our visual tribute media service with thanks to Alex Goodhind.

We warmly invite all members of the community to come together for a day of reflection, remembrance, and connection. This anniversary is not only a celebration of 30 years of service, but also an opportunity to honour the many lives remembered here and the families we have supported over the last 30 years.

Throughout the day, visitors are welcome to take a gentle, guided tour of the crematorium facilities, learn more about the care and services provided, and spend time exploring the peaceful and beautifully maintained memorial grounds. Staff will be on hand to answer any questions and share insights into the work we do.

Yesterday I visited the new DJ Bewley Funerals premises in Bradford on Avon. It’s fantastic! Light, bright, modern & welcoming.
I am privileged to be leading the first ever ‘Celebration of Life’ here next week. The purposeful built multi-faith space has seating for up to 50 people, a huge screen & multi- media facilities.
It’s a wonderful option, enabling families to come together in a relaxed, private way.
As always, choice is key.

Congratulations to one of our newer members Of the team- Hannah!
Hannah has now arranged and conducted her 1st funeral service looking after the family from the initial enquiry to guiding them through the funeral arrangements and then leading the funeral service on the day.
