Yesterday we gathered in Westminster Hall for the first ever National Emergency Briefing with MPs and peers from across the political spectrum.

The message was clear: we live on a pale blue dot – planet earth, our only home. And it’s being destroyed for profit and greed.

This event was about equipping our leaders in Westminster with the knowledge and gravitas of the situation we are in– but now we need an urgent televised national emergency briefing for the public too.

We are not safe. This is an emergency. Now is the time for courage and to put trust in the public. The UK has a track record of uniting to face difficult challenges. Now is the time to do this again.

The path seems long, uphill often slippy and muddy too. We weren’t meant to struggle on our own. Humans are pack animals, we work best with human support (and poss w the love of a fluffy dog too!)

New: Men’s group in the woods. I’m holding space for men. I’m interested in supporting men. I’d like to create a trusted space so men can share whatever they need to. Grief can get buried. Burying grief can lead to ill health, anxiety and not living a life of your full potential. I know talking can help, when the listening is solid. I know sharing in a group means encouragement for others to share. I know as I have held a lot of space for individual men, and mixed groups. I’m confident a little group will grow & we’ll feel braver each week. I’m confident you’ll feel a bit better for investing time in yourself. It’s outside as nature is calming. In the woods, cos trees help us lower cortisol/stress. Weather may be wet and cold, but that’s part of it. We’ll create a fire and have a brew and settle in just to talk, to share & be honest.

Year 8 canvas start… this has an air of mystery! Using white acrylic over chalk pastels meant spontaneous mark making & movement of colour. Looking forward to seeing what the next ‘layer’ of this multi-media canvas brings. This client is very relaxed with their creativity now-it flows, and the results feel authentic.
