Thigh loop exercises for hip stability:

Feet parallel for the first one then drop the loop down to the lower leg and turn the feet in for the second one.

Bonus points for tucking in the core! When pregnant, it's useful to think of your abs 'hugging' your baby, aww.

Lockjaw caused by TMJ dysfunction is a condition that not many people realise we treat. My friend last night that I was out with certainly didn’t and had been suffering for over a month. Not only was she struggling to eat, but she was also suffering with ear and jaw pain and stiffness in the shoulders. A quick bit of treatment and I had her opening her mouth pretty much fully, so thought I would share. Here’s to eating steak again !!

Francesca's top tip:

Calf cramps often happen overnight when you stretch and point your toes and the calf muscles shorten and contract so keep this in mind and instead push your heels away from you to stretch!

You can also speak to your doctor or midwife about taking magnesium or electrolytes to help reduce muscle cramps.

The Serola sacroiliac belt - in our opinion the best belt for providing stability around the hips and pelvis when it's needed.

Particularly helpful during pregnancy to support a rapidly adapting pelvis, it is also useful for sacroiliac strains, often related to hypermobility.

Best used alongside stabilising strengthwork ✔️
