💗Dermaplaning is one of my favourite treatments and here’s the reasons why…..

💗What is dermaplaning?

• Dermaplaning is a facial treatment that uses a sharp dermaplaning tool to gently remove dead skin cells and vellus hair. The tool is specifically designed for use on various facial areas including the forehead, cheeks, chin, nose, and neck. During the procedure, gentle, feathering strokes are used to scrape the skin’s surface, which helps to absorb serums and facial products, resulting in a smoother, more radiant complexion.

💗Is there any downtime?

• There is little to no downtime, irritation, or post-treatment precautions required, as the skin immediately reveals a brighter, smoother, and visibly glowing appearance post-dermaplaning.

💗What are the benefits and results?

• The gentle scraping action on the skin’s surface serves as a physical exfoliant, effectively eliminating dead skin along with hair, which if not removed along with dirt and oil, can congest pores, leading to frustrating breakouts. Consequently, hair-free skin tends to be cleaner because it lacks hair to trap debris, fostering a cleaner complexion post-dermaplaning. This cleaner state not only aids in preventing future breakouts but also enhances the pe*******on of other skincare products.

• Dermaplaning also boasts anti-aging benefits since dead skin removal diminishes the appearance of fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and acne scars. Additionally, it enhances skin texture, evens out skin tone, leaving behind a dewy glow and silky-smooth skin texture, facilitating seamless makeup application.

💗Am I suitable for dermaplaning?

• Fortunately, dermaplaning is suitable for nearly anyone, except those with actively inflamed acne. It’s an excellent addition to skincare routines for individuals seeking hair removal or exfoliation.
