Today we reach the final new moon of 2020, and this Sagittarius total solar eclipse is a fitting end to a very turbulent, and life-changing year.
This new moon total eclipse, and some powerful planetary alignments over the Winter Solstice, are putting the final touches to this powerful year, so be ready for more big things to take place at the beginning of 2021 to Spring Equinox, March 21st.
When big things happen in the cosmos we assume that we will feel the effects immediately down here on Earth, and sometimes we do, but often it takes some time for the vibrational energy to hit us, just like it takes eight minutes for the sunlight to touch our planet.
The beginning of the acceleration of consciousness began many years ago. However, it feels that we are now deep in the midst of the birth canal, as the shift and change that is happening on Planet Earth can no longer be ignored.
Over the last two decades we have been witnessing the dissolving of Christianity, that has been the bedrock of our global belief system for the last 600 years. Now this breakdown is accelerating, creating a vortex for other beliefs to have space to be expressed.
Throughout this year, important issues around personal sovereignty and authoritarian rule that have been suppressed are now finally coming to the surface to be faced.
As the major planets leave the stern, patriarchal authoritative Capricorn energy, and move into the imaginative, creative and feminine sign of Aquarius, we will see a huge shift in the energy.
For the first time the dictatorial voice of our public institutions now longer have the power and authority they once held. Instead, everyone has a legitimate voice, and a platform to share their belief, challenging what is the truth, and creating confusion and chaos.
This Sagittarius new moon eclipse is illuminating even more corruption within our economic, social and financial systems, and the unjust laws and abuse of power that can no longer be ignored. If you are living in the path of the eclipse (South America and South West Africa), you will experience this more prominently there.
Over this moon we can use the symbol of the Sagittarius Archer to help us on our way. The archer focuses their attention on the target, and then trusts that the bow, and the wind, will help the arrow find its ballseye.
To harness the energy of this new moon take some time out to set your intention and focus on what you want to manifest over this eclipse. Wherever you are shooting your arrow, that is what you will be manifesting.
The key to this full moon is to keep your vibration high. Turn off the media, don't get sucked into other people's drama, find time in silence, spend time in nature, retreat, dream, connect with your intuition.
If you are feeling scattered and exhausted, be kind to yourself. Sleep, find ways to ground yourself, walk barefoot, and bring yourself back to the present if your mind starts going into worry or anxiety.
The Sagittarius new moon also reminds us to keep trusting in our dreams and have faith in our abilities. It gives us a new sense of commitment and tenacity for what we stand for, and believe in. Things may get rocky, but if your path is clear, and your faith is strong, you will be able to navigate this moon cycle with ease and grace.
Every morning and evening for five minutes, just before you sleep and when you awake, allow the sensation of gratitude and love for all the blessings in your life to infuse your body. When we flood our body with sensations that make us feel good, we automatically feel calmer, happier and more positive.
I am slowly going into winter hibernation myself over December, to reflect, integrate and dream big for 2021. My final ceremony of 2020 is on the Cancer Full Moon on 30th December to complete this year and set our intentions and path for the new year. Looking forward to seeing you there.
I will end this Lunascope with the wise words from Michelangelo:
"The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark"
All my love and blessings
