Fabulous post from try so hard to get this over to clients!

This was such a big learning curve for me. No more running or drastic changes in behaviour to seek immediate relief. I’ve had hundreds of panic attacks and the wilful tolerance of uncertainty using my behaviour was the way out. It also increased my confidence and self belief - it was a skill I got good at.

Thoughts don’t make you a bad person, we all have some fairly weird ones from time to time! It’s ok to have them.

It’s a really good time to start talking and listening to people about mental health!

It can be really nerve wracking thinking about what to say or how to help. Remember it’s often just about listening, not fixing them! Listen with patience in a safe place, validating how tough that sounds. Giving people a safe space just to speak is a very very powerful thing!
