COME AND JOIN THE FUN
Newline Spring Trivia Night

Saturday 6th April, eyes down at 7:30pm

Due to growing popularity our Trivia Nights are moving across the road to "The Hitching Post"
Please come and join us for what is a fun night, family and friends can enter a team or if you would like to join a team we can arrange that for you.
We have new champions "The Dustbusters" from our Christmas Triv Night (knocked the reigning champions into second) who are out to prove that they are not one hit wonders!!

Categories for the night are; Capitol Cities of the World, Food and Drink, Picture Round, James Bond, Spelling Bee and Cameo Roles.

There will be a light supper at the end but food and drink can be purchased directly from the bar via you table QR code.

£2.00 per team member and there will also be a raffle. Please contact Sue or Amy at the home to enter

Newline is running an Easter Raffle this year and will be drawn on Good Friday.
1st Prize is the basket containing a floppy bunny and 8 easter eggs
2nd Prize will be 4 Easter Eggs
Tickets are £1.00 for a strip of 5 numbers or 3 strips for £2

Today the staff & friends took part in the Alzheimers Society Memory walk. Some completed the 6km at Temple Newsome whilst those on duty tackled the task at the care home. Thank you to all those who took part and donated to this wonderful cause.

Jubilee celebrated in a big way at Newline. Everything from bunting to QE2 rose to the official Jubilee pudding, made by our very own chef, Gavin.

Congratulations to our very own Team Leader Tina Powell on achieving and receiving her Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care, & Children and Young Peoples Services (Adults' Residential Management). You should be proud of all the hard work you put into this award, we certainly are.

Carers Remembrance Day 2022

Today we honoured and paid tribute with a minutes silence to the 922 carers who lost their lives to COVID over the last 2 years. A buffet lunch, music and dancing was had by all.
