🎉 DRUM ROLL PLEASE… 🎉

The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here — and honestly, there were times we weren’t sure it ever would be!

After 15 long months of working from our temporary location, Room 907 will officially be back home at our Harrogate Road salon on Monday, 22nd September! 🙌

Over the last few months, many of you have spotted the builders coming and going — well, all that hard work has paid off. The salon has had a full refurb and it’s looking absolutely incredible. We cannot wait to welcome you back and show you around! Expect lots of sneak peek photos coming your way very soon. ✨

We want to take a moment to say the biggest THANK YOU to all of you for your patience, loyalty, and support throughout this crazy journey. You’ve stood by us through everything, and it’s meant the world. 💛

Here’s what you need to know:
• All appointments up to and including this Saturday will still be at Elm Tree Court or at Enza’s home salon.
• From Monday, 22nd September, every single appointment will be back at our freshly refurbished home:

This weekend will be full-on for our team — we’ll finish work at 3pm Saturday and then it’s all hands on deck to move everything over, unpack, and set up. If you thought we were speedy when the crash first happened, just wait until you see us in action this weekend! 💪

I think alot of you know by now we are so close to opening at our Harrogate Road address again. The crazy summer period is behind us. And now it is time to focus on our reopening.

Good morning everyone
We have had a few messages about the story that is circulating in the news recently about TPO. And I get it. If it were true it would be very concerning. But like most things we see in the news it is not true. So here are the facts. 💖💖

🚨 𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱🚨

I have seen posts from multiple sites that I wanted to address...

GEL POLISH IS 𝗡𝗢𝗧 BANNED IN EUROPE... O̲N̲E̲ ̲I̲N̲G̲R̲E̲D̲I̲E̲N̲T̲ USED IN GEL POLISH 'TPO' WAS BANNED from 1st September 2025 in the EU and the UK will likely follow next year, 2026.

🚨𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗣𝗢?🚨

TPO stands for 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝘆𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗼𝘆𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘆𝗹𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗢𝘅𝗶𝗱𝗲.

It’s a photoinitiator, which means it helps nail gels and other UV-cured products such as tooth fillings harden when exposed to UV or LED light.

Without it, the gel polish wouldn’t cure properly and would stay soft or sticky.

🚨 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗜𝘀 𝗧𝗣𝗢 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗚𝗲𝗹𝘀?🚨

Let’s clear this up 👇

💡 A 2020 study in Germany tested very high 𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 doses of TPO on rats (around 600mg per kg of body weight daily for 10 days). To put this in perspective, a person would need to 𝗘𝗔𝗧 over 500 whole pots of gel every day for 10 days to reach the same exposure. In salons we do not eat the products. 🙈🙈🙈

⚠️ The study found potential links to reproductive toxicity in male rats at those extreme levels. But here’s the key point:

✨ 𝗡𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗴𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗻 or used in this way.
✨ The study does not reflect how nail products are actually used in real life.

Regulators often act with caution, which is why TPO is being phased out – but this does not mean your gels are unsafe when applied properly.

✨️ Thanks to the 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 we have the pleasure to work with CND and Gelish, alot of our products have already been reformulated over the past year in anticipation of this change, and no longer contain HEMA or TPO.

Hello it's Enza here.
I have a new toy!!! Shes a bit of a beast!!
We do sooooo much waxing and we are constantly filling up our wax pots during the day which is a bit of a juggling act.
Soooo ....... here is my new 10lb wax pot which hold nearly 5 times the amount of wax as our other pots.
I mean where has she been all my life??
I will introduce you to her properly soon but I am off to do my first wax with her and probably a little bit more excited than I should be. (Definately more excited than my client is. 🙈)
Lets hope we get along as I am hoping to get more of them for the salon when it reopens.

This will be for gel polish on hands and can also include removal. However must not already have builder gel on.
She will remove your gel polish if needed and apply the colour of your choice. No french paint or nail art.
