Please note that our centre will be closed from 24th December to 5th January. We’ll be back and ready to support you in the New Year!

The Thornbury Community Pantry opens on January 15, 12pm - 2pm.

Operated on a membership basis, the pantry allows BD3 area residents to purchase low-cost food items for £6 per shop.

This model supports individuals with low incomes by offering the ability to choose suitable items for their households, instead of pre-packed parcels.

A massive shout-out to Garry, our newest Men’s Group member, who has officially secured “Legend Status” by donating a brand new pool table! 🎱😎

Garry, your generosity means a lot to everyone and the friendly competition it’s already sparked is just the cherry on top!

If you fancy showing off your pool skills (or just having a good laugh), the Men’s Group meets every Tuesday from 12:15pm to 2:15pm at Manningham Mills Community Hub.

Join us for an in-person workshop on Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). this workshop will be delivered in partnership with the SEMH specialist teaching team.
this workshop is appropriate for parents/carers of children/YP without an EHCP.

learning outcomes are:
To look at the legal basis for support in school.
To understand where you can get help.
To examine the processes for school support in Bradford.
To understand reasonable adjustments and what this looks like in school.
To signpost to other sources of support.
to gain understanding around attendance difficulties.
To develop knowledge of SEMH.
To understand how the SEMH team works in schools.
To explore strategies for supporting SEMH needs in young people.

Parking:
On street parking is available, however we do not have capacity to allow use of our staff car park. If you are a blue badge holder, please contact us in advance and we will endeavour to provide a space in our car park for you.

Refreshments:
refreshments will be available, however lunch will not be provided. There is a Greggs, subway etc not far from the building. You are also welcome to bring your own lunch with you.
