Good morning everyone !!!

Have you heard of the Epley maneuver?

The Epley maneuver is a series of head movements to relieve symptoms of benign positional vertigo. Benign positional vertigo is also called benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). BPPV is caused by a problem in the inner ear. Vertigo is the feeling that you are spinning or that everything is spinning around you.

Our brilliant Osteopath Nick can perform this maneuver.

Happy Monday everyone !!!

Today we are going to tell you about our wonderful Osteopath Greg.

After being treated for a long-term rugby injury, Greg decided to go into Osteopathy and graduated in 2014 with a Master’s degree in Osteopathy.

Greg treats issues ranging from longer term chronic problems to more acute trauma. Greg takes a keen interest in explaining the cause of the pain in a way in which his patient will understand as he believes educating his patients in this way will help them with their road to recovery.

Today we are going to tell you about our wonderful Osteopath Judy.

Judy studied to be an osteopath at Oxford Brookes University, graduating in 2007. She first studied and worked as a remedial massage and manipulation therapist, mainly dealing with sports injuries, and then went on to do a degree in Osteopathy.

She loves to treat a range of patients from teenage to the older adult and a range of conditions.

Examples would include women with musculoskeletal pain in pregnancy, people with more age-related conditions such as osteoarthritis, repetitive strain injuries, headaches and back and neck problems, to name but a few.

This week we are telling you a little more about our wonderful Osteopaths.

Nick Brown has been with us since 2018 and of course treats all the usual things people associate with Osteopaths…”Osteopaths? That’s backs isn’t it?” 😃

But Nick has other strings to his bow and takes a real interest treating people with long standing chronic pain, something that is sadly all too common among our patients. Whilst this is an area of special interest he also, as an adjunct to his Osteopathic skills, uses both Western and Chinese acupuncture in order to help relieve his patients symptoms.
