New Vision Bradford

New Vision Bradford New Vision Bradford is the alcohol and drug service for people across the Bradford District.

Starting on 1 April 2023, we will be offering a range of support for people experiencing issues with substances from across Bradford, Keighley, Bingley, Ilkley, Shipley and all the towns and villages in the district. Our experienced, professional teams work together with individuals to develop a recovery plan that suits them. Everyone is provided with a dedicated worker to support them through their recovery journey.

🟡 The Met Office has issued a YELLOW weather warning for from 5pm today to midday Friday, with storm Goretti likely to bring heavy snow to the district.

Our team is out and about today helping people sleeping rough to find much needed accommodation for the night.

If you are rough sleeping and need to access this provision, please report to Salvation Army Day Shelter, 371 Leeds Road, Bradford BD3 9NG in person, between 9am-4pm (we recommend that you get there before 3pm).

UPDATE: If you are rough sleeping and need to access the Cold Weather Provision, please report to Salvation Army Day Shelter 371 Leeds Road, Bradford, BD3 9NG in person, 9am-4pm Mon-Fri.

Staff will carry out an assessment and try to find a suitable bed space for the night.

Our advice would be to get there as soon as possible - ideally before 3pm.

❄️⚠️ With the weather reaching sub-zero temperatures this week, shelter for rough sleepers across the district will be available tonight as part of the Bradford Council's Cold Weather Provision.

Our Rough Sleeper team is out all year-round offering support anyone who is rough sleeping and using alcohol or drugs. We work with individuals for as long as it takes for them to access the relevant support and accommodation.

Today, we will be working with partners to signpost and support people into emergency accommodation, ensuring that no one has to sleep out in the cold.
