We've upgraded our online request system, from Thursday 7th May PATCHS will no longer be used to contact us. Instead, you'll now use SystmConnect.

Click the SystmConnect banner at the top of the homepage on our website to submit your request.

SystmConnect works more closely with our clinical system. Which means your request goes straight into your GP record, there's less admin handling behind the scenes and we can review and respond to your request more quickly. You don't have to create an account like you did on PATCHS, so no more usernames and passwords to remember.

We've upgraded our online request system, from Thursday 7th May PATCHS will no longer be used to contact us. Instead, you'll now use SystmConnect.

You can either click the banner at the top of our page or click this link and save to your bookmarks

Will I notice anything different?

No. You'll still be asked the same questions about your request. The only thing which changes is you will now click the link to SystmConnect, instead of PATCHS.

Is it better?

Yes! SystmConnect works more closely with our clinical system. Which means your request goes straight into your GP record, there's less admin handling behind the scenes and we can review and respond to your request more quickly.

You also don't need to create an account like you did on PATCHS, so no usernames and passwords to remember.

April is testicular cancer awareness month, each year around 2,300 men are diagnosed with testicular cancer.

Testicular cancer starts in one of the testicles and is usually curable if caught early enough. The main symptom of testicular cancer is a lump or swelling in the testicle, but there can be other signs like swelling in the testicles or a dull ache/pain or feeling of heaviness in your sc***um.

It's important to check your testicles once a month, feeling for lumps, swellings, any changes you've noticed and differences in the testicles. It is normal for testicles to be slightly different in size or for one to hang lower than the other. Other conditions can cause lumps or swellings, most lumps aren't cancer - but it is important you get your doctor to check anything unusual.
