School Immunisation Team Summer Holiday Community Clinics

The School Immunisation Team will be running community clinics during the summer holidays for any students that may have missed any of their school -Aged immunisations in school (HPV, Teenage Boosters, MMR Vaccinations), or for any students that would prefer to have their vaccinations done in a clinic.

Parents and Carers can contact the team on 01274 221269, to arrange a clinic appointment 😊

If you have a child in Year 8 and above and they have not received 2 doses of the MMR vaccine , please contact the team on 01274 221269 , and a member of staff will call you back .

is still common in many parts of the world. The vaccine protects against it - you need two doses for full protection. Check your vaccination status and catch up and missed doses via your GP. 📱👩‍⚕️

If you would like to give consent for this vaccination please contact the team on 01274 221269, and a member of the team will call you back 😄
For younger children please contact your G.P practice .

Add the vaccine to your travel check list. ✈️
It takes less than 2 weeks to protect you from , and that protection lasts long after you return.
Check if you're protected, and if not, catch up with your GP. 👨‍⚕️

There are over 100 strains of the HPV virus. Some of these are called high-risk as they may lead to certain cancers, including cervical, pe**le and a**l.

This is why the NHS offers the HPV vaccine to boys and girls from the age of 12-13.
