The team will be commencing the Year 9 Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio (DTP) and Meningitis ACWY campaign W/C 13.4.26 .
These are both part of the routine childhood vaccination programme and are the final 2 boosters doses to be offered.

🚨Parents /Carers if you have not yet completed a online consent / refusal form for your child ,you should have received a link & a unique code via your child's school to be able to complete this online. The School Immunisation will be commencing the Teenage Booster Campaign W/C 13.4.26.
These vaccines are routinely offered to all eligible Year 9 students.
The students will be offered 2 vaccines –

💉3 in 1 Teenage booster which helps protects against Tetanus, Diphtheria & Polio

💉Men ACWY – This Vaccine helps protect against life threatening illnesses like Meningitis & Sepsis

Meningitis is a life threatening disease caused by Meningococcal bacteria .
Teenagers & young adults are at higher risk of getting Meningococcal disease .
The best protection is by having the Men ACWY vaccine -
The Men ACWY vaccination is offered to all eligible Year 9 pupils along side the DTP - Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio vaccination.

The team will be visiting our secondary schools from W/C 13.4.26 to carry out the -3 in 1 Teenage Boosters & Men ACWY vaccination .These vaccinations are routinely offered to students in Year 9 .

The Bradford School Immunisation team will be visiting the following schools next week to administer the HPV vaccinations:

Monday 24th March – Jaamiatul Imaam Muhammad Zakaria (JIMZ) & Laisterdyke

Thursday 26th March – Eden Boys & Dixons Trinity

Friday 27th March – Dixons Cottingley & Bronte Girls

We also have some clinics running throughout the easter holidays 🐣
