Another exciting change to our birth centre!🤍

Now 2 of our birthing rooms (Ash and Willow) have newly added equipment to help promote active labour and birth!
This is especially great for those who do not wish to labour on a bed as there is so much space for you to mobilise and equipment to encourage upright and optimal labour positions (beds are still available in our other rooms).

We're very excited with these additions and can't wait to see how they will be used!🤍

February births❤️

Last month we had 54 births on our birth centre! This is the most babies we have welcomed in one month since February 2025! Congratulations to all families who had care with us last month🤍

This March we have also started an exciting new venture on Bradford Birth Centre!
We now offer spaces for 36 week appointments with our birth centre midwives - these appointments include your routine antenatal care (that you would have with your community midwife), a discussion around your birth preferences and a tour of our unit (dependant on activity on the day).

Please let your community midwife know if this is something you're interested in so they can book you into our clinic!

Personalised care plans can be discussed during your pregnancy ready for labour and birth so that you can have all the information and make a fully informed choice regarding your care! Please discuss with your community midwife if this is something you want to explore.

Happy 2026! For the beginning of the year we cared for 95 families and welcomed 43 babies into the world!
Congratulations to each family! We look forward to meeting many more of you this year🤍

2025 births💫

Happy new year!
In 2025 we cared for 990 families and welcomed 547 babies into the world on our lovely birth centre!🤍

We hope everyone who has had care with us has had a positive experience and thank you for letting us be a part of your pregnancy / birth journey!
An extra thank you to everyone who has left us feedback to help us boost our birth centre further so that we can hopefully provide care to more families in the coming year!

In October we saw 51 babies born on our birth centre!
Also 50% of those who laboured with us used a pool in their labour, this is the highest amount we have seen since last year!
