Q. What can I do in the secure online customer area?

A. Once you’ve registered for the secure customer area you can submit claims online, update your contact details and marketing preferences, plus view your claims history and policy documents.

You can also access member benefits, including:

A: To help us process your claim as quickly as possible, your receipt needs to include the 5 important pieces of information we need shown in our handy checklist below. Don’t forget to make sure all the information is captured in the photo of the receipt if you’re claiming online.

Today is Self Care Day, a great reminder to prioritise your health and wellbeing and take time for yourself.

Here are some self care ideas to help you recharge:
1. Digital detox: Unplug from screens for a few hours and enjoy some offline activities like reading or journaling.
2. Nature escape: Spend time outdoors, whether it's a hike, a picnic in a park or simply enjoying your garden.
3. Healthy cooking: Experiment with a new healthy recipe and nourish your body with some wholesome ingredients.
4. Mindful breathing: Take a few moments to practice deep breathing or gentle yoga to centre yourself and reduce stress.

We’re pleased to share that we have recently donated to the National Science and Media Museum for their Sound and Vision project.

The project aims to create a welcoming and friendly space that is accessible to a wide audience. Our contribution will specifically support the design, creation, and installation of large-scale tactile maps, enhancing accessibility for a range of individuals.

We are proud to be part of this important initiative and look forward to seeing the positive impact it will have on the community.

Q: Can I claim for treatment received abroad?

A: Yes! You can claim for treatment received anywhere in the world from a qualified practitioner. For example, if you buy your glasses while you’re abroad, you can claim for these under your Sovereign cash plan.

Claims paid for treatment received outside the UK are paid in pounds sterling at the current exchange rate for the relevant currency on the date we settle your claim. Please make sure you submit a valid receipt, and it would be helpful if you could attach a covering letter in English stating the treatment you have received. We'd like to wish a huge congratulations to everyone who took part in the Epilepsy Action Bradford 10k on Sunday! We were proud to support this incredible event once again, continuing our commitment to raising awareness and supporting those affected by epilepsy.

Our Chief Exec, Neil, was set to lace up his running shoes and join the race this year but was unfortunately sidelined due to injury. While he couldn’t take part, he sends his heartfelt congratulations to all the runners who crossed the finish line.

"Sovereign Health Care were delighted to support the fantastic Epilepsy Action Bradford 10k again. Massive well done to all the runners and the volunteers who make these fabulous events possible. Running is such a great way to support your everyday health, and it was inspiring to see so many happy faces pounding the streets of Bradford!"
