Q. How can I check if my treatment provider is qualified and registered with a professional body before my appointment?

A. All treatment must be provided by a suitably qualified practitioner, and where this applies, they must be registered with an appropriate professional body recognised by us. Your policy terms and conditions list the professional bodies recognised by us which you can check before your appointment.

Today, we’re saying a big goodbye (and an even bigger thank you) to Vera, who’s retiring after an incredible 33 years with Sovereign.

Since joining in 1992, Vera has been part of roughly a fifth of our 150+ year history - equivalent to one working day for every working week in Sovereign’s story. Her extraordinary commitment has been a constant through every office move, from Vicar Lane to Manningham, and now to our newest home in Shipley.

Vera has been a valued colleague, and her smiling personality – not to mention her legendary baking skills – will always be welcome!

You’ll be missed, Vera! Wishing you all the very best in this next chapter! 🍰💐

It’s and the Sovereign team is rocking the quirkiest, most colourful jumpers (and accessories!) to spread holiday cheer and support a great cause! Every jumper staff have worn today has helped raise £300 for Save the Children UK, to help make a real difference for children in need.

We were treated to a range of stunning light and sound installations as part of BD: is LIT and saw the sky above Saltaire transformed into a dynamic tribute to David Hockney, one of our district’s favourite sons, for the Painting the Sky event. Our Marketing Co-ordinator, Emily, explored the BD: is LIT event this weekend - a spectacular celebration that transformed Bradford city centre with dazzling light and sound installations, live performances, and interactive artworks from local, national, and international artists.

Emily said, “It was inspiring to see the diverse range of installations spread across the city. Bradford felt so vibrant and full of life, with people exploring, interacting, and enjoying the atmosphere. The city was truly ‘LIT’ up!

What a fantastic way to celebrate our connection with culture, creativity, light, and sound on so many levels. A massive round of applause to the Bradford 2025 and Bradford Council teams - what an incredible event!”
