When you come along for your mammogram

✅ please wear separates ( a top and skirt or trousers). This will mean it’s easier to undress for your mammograms!

❌ Avoid dresses 👗 as it’s easier to just remove a blouse or top.

Please do come along when invited, early detection can mean less treatment and could save your life !

What does it involve?

You can help to spread the message whichever way suits you best:

👉 Raise awareness in your workplace or community group

Give as much or as little time as you like. Get help and support from us and other cancer champions in our regular update meetings usually via zoom.

We like this idea!

The NHS and Morrisons have teamed up to put advice on own-brand bath and shower gels, urging people to look out for possible cancer signs. Advice urging people to look out for lumps, swelling, skin changes and unexplained bruising will be printed on a range of nine bottles in Morrisons stores. The messaging includes “Be body aware” and “Know the signs of cancer” and will be available across 450 stores and online throughout this month. An NHS spokesperson shared that it was open to working with other supermarkets that may wish to add labels to their products.

The unit is at Thornbury Medical centre, thru the Morrisons carpark...to the left of the entrance.

Car parking is free in Morrison's. The surgery carpark is small
