Today we celebrated international nurses day and recognised all the care, kindness and hardwork our nurses do at Owlett hall.
We shared gifts, food and cards our residents written to show their appreciation.

When Steve and the dogs come to visit us at Owlett, everyone wants to meet them.
This week, Steve brought Bertie who visited everyone and got lots of treats for all of his hard work. 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Today, we had Dancing on Oak and Dominoes on Beech, with lots of cups of tea and cake. A lovely day! 😁

Today at Owlett, we decided to have a Staff Table Tennis Tournament to entertain our Resident’s and they loved it… and I think the staff really enjoyed themselves too.
Not only was there lots of fun had by everyone, but it was a great team building exercise and they all came together to entertain our Residents in a really fun and easy way.
Team Owlett Rocks!

We had a Pantomime yesterday afternoon for our Residents.
We had a production of ‘When I’m Cleaning Windows’ highlighting some favourite tunes from a bygone era. We had a full house and everyone really enjoyed themselves. 😁

It’s been a very busy one today at Owlett.
We started the day at 10am with our car boot, which went really well and we are hoping to make it a regular event to raise funds for the Residents activities.
The bacon butties and the cuppas went down a treat.
Then, this afternoon, the Dominoes Team were out in force to the point where we might need a bigger table. 😂
