I see this all the time in aesthetics… 🩷
Practitioners getting really excited (which I completely understand), and then investing thousands into multiple courses straight away.
Foundation, advanced, contouring, non-surgical rhinoplasty… trying to offer everything from the beginning.
The thinking is usually:
“The more treatments I offer, the more money I’ll make.”
But it doesn’t work like that.
You’re not just building a treatment list… you’re building trust.
And that takes time.
You’re far better off mastering your foundation level treatments first.
Becoming confident. Getting consistent results. Building a loyal client base.
Then expanding your portfolio once you’ve actually got the demand for it.
I’ve seen so many people invest thousands into courses at the start…
and then struggle because they don’t have the client base to support it yet.
That first year is already the hardest, and putting that kind of pressure on yourself financially can make it even harder to sustain.
Sustainable growth will always outperform rushing to offer everything at once.
