Do you suffer from sciatica?😩

One of my recent clients has been suffering for a while and booked himself in for some well needed pain relief.
Working on the affected right side of his body starting from the glutes the working down to the hamstring, and into the calf.

Arrears of slight pain and tension were flushed out with some soft tissue massage techniques. As for the painful and tight arrears, and I mean it when I say tight, they were treated with some deep tissue massage 😆

Remember sports massage doesn’t have to be solely for sporting injures. Any muscle, with any pain I’m happy to help!

A recent client came to me with these issues more specifically in his mid to lower back region.

Starting on the left side of the back and working across to the right.
Techniques of effleurage were used to warm up the muscles, followed by petrissage to target those deep muscle tissues. Focusing on finding those adhesions and knots to relive pain and tension.

Have you been suffering from a long lasting injury?

My client here has been suffering from tightness within both his deltoids for a number of years.

A function test called the back scratch was performed before and after the treatment.
Some really good deep tissue massage was done to pin point the tightness and knots within his deltoids, rhomboid minor and major.

As you can see from the pictures, the muscles massaged have loosened off a significant amount, with the gap between his fingers being smaller after treatment.

Seeing improvement like this is so satisfying. It shows me and my client what we have done has worked, which is the best feeling for both of us.
