Thank you to Lillie's Grace for providing all our babies with a bag, blanket and keyring to help celebrate World Prematurity Day!! We are grateful for everything you do for us throughout the year.
Our babies also received a certificate with their footprints 👣 on.

At 4pm we crossed the finished line with 73.5 miles covered over 8 hours by staff walking or running 2-8 miles each! 🏃🏃‍♀️ Thank you to everyone who came along to cheer the team along 💜

We've started running/walking 70miles..... one of the longest distances parents may travel to reach our neonatal unit to be with their baby 💜

We are working with Bradford Hospitals Charity and The Sick Children's Trust on this journey to build a Home from Home for families who use Neonatal Care.

The goal is to raise £3 million to create a safe, comfortable environment for families during the most difficult times in their lives.

🌟 Bradford NICU Families: Join us for World Prematurity Day 2025! 💜

Together with Bradford Hospitals Charity we would like to invite you to celebrate, connect, and reflect with staff and other parents. This day is truly for you and our entire neonatal community.

We will be proudly raising money for the Neonatal Home from Home Appeal to support future families during their most challenging times.

Time: 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Where: Women's and Newborn Entrance

What's Happening?
🏃‍♀️ Staff Treadmill Relay: Come cheer on our amazing colleagues as they run for the cause!
Our countdown is on with just 5 days to go!!

🧁 Bake Sale and Children’s Tombola: Treats and fun activities for everyone.

While we enjoy the fun, we will also be sharing a moment of reflection for the journey of prematurity.💜

We’re excited to share a new series of short videos co-produced by parents and staff across Yorkshire and Humber, designed to support families expressing milk during their stay on the Neonatal Unit (NNU).

These videos are a helpful reminder for parents throughout their journey and complement the essential 1-to-1 conversations with staff about expressing - including why it’s important, how to do it, and how to use the pumps.
