"My name is Beth Dunne and I am the new Neonatal Engagement Lead for Bradford and Airedale. I am also a mother of two, and my commitment to neonatal engagement is deeply rooted in personal experience. One of my children was born prematurely at 33+2 weeks, an experience that brought both uncertainty and appreciation for the care and support provided to families during the most vulnerable moments of their lives.
For the past 3.5 years, I have volunteered with a Neonatal Parent Advisory Group, working closely with families and healthcare professionals to ensure that the voices of parents are heard, respected, and meaningfully reflected in neonatal services. This work has strengthened my belief that lived experience is vital in shaping compassionate, responsive and safe care.
I am driven by a genuine desire to make a difference, to advocate for families, to support positive change, and to help improve neonatal experiences for babies and those who love them."
