New synthetic drugs are stronger than he**in and as potent as fentanyl. Accidental overdoses are increasing. Let us also take hope in the knowledge that we can save lives with medication which reverses the effects of an opioid overdose, including non-opiate drugs that are contaminated.

🚨 Real change is happening in Bradford.

Today, the Head of Policing at WYCA visited The Bridge Project to understand how our trauma-informed services are tackling domestic abuse at its roots.

The most powerful moment? Hearing from two people in our Bradford RESET programme—openly sharing:
🔹 Why they caused harm
🔹 How they’re changing
🔹 What they’ve learned—and how they’re using it

🌟 "I've been learning what respect is, and to see things from another's point of view"
🌟 “When frustrations rise, I've started to take time away to cool down.”

These life-changing starts are just one step towards sustained change.

RESET launched in April, working with people aged 16+ to stop abuse. With our multi-agency partners, we’re reducing reoffending and building safer futures for Bradford families.
