Fascia is the vital connective tissue that holds your whole body together. It wraps around every muscle, every fibre, every nervous structure and even gets to a cellular level in your body. Fascia holds on to everything your body has been through during your life. It holds tension from trauma, accidents, stress, injuries. It remembers what your body has been through long after that event has passed.
