✨Announcement ✨

Raj's chemist is now under new management. The pharmacy is now part of the Rimmingtons group, joining Allerton Pharmacy and Precinct Pharmacy.

I have sold the chemist to spend more time with my family. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all our loyal customers for your support over the years. I’m confident that the new team will continue to provide the exceptional service and care you’ve come to expect.

Cheers to new beginnings!

I may return to work with the team after some time off, but will take this time to decide what plans work for my family.

🎄 Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all of us here at Raj's Chemist 🎄

Please make sure you have enough medication for over the Christmas period.

We will be closed on the following days:
🎅🏻Christmas Day- Wednesday 25th December
🎁Boxing Day- Thursday 26th December
🎊New years Day -Wednesday 1st January

All other week days we will be open as normal.

All adults aged 40 and over are advised to have their blood pressure checked every five years. Have you had yours checked recently?

It is thought, that as many as one third of high blood pressure cases are undiagnosed. This is because there are often no warning signs.

Call into Raj's Chemist and we can do a free blood pressure check. It only takes a few minutes. You will be seen by a member of our trained team in the consultation room. Your results will be explained and we will answer any questions you may have. No appointment needed.

Do you have symptoms of a urinary tract infection? You can now visit Raj's chemist and use our pharmacy first service. Don't wait on hold for ages with your GP practice, simply come in to see our pharmacist!

You don't need a referral you can just give us a call or pop in to see us.

Today the NHS is launching an expansion of community pharmacy services. You can now go to a local pharmacy for advice and treatment for seven common conditions and your pharmacist may provide some prescription medicine without you needing to see a GP.

From today, if you or a family member is suffering with a sore throat or sinusitis, an ear infection, an infected insect bite, impetigo, shingles, or even an uncomplicated urinary tract infection – just think, pharmacy first.

This is part of a major plan to make accessing healthcare in your local community more convenient.

By giving people more choice in where and how they access care, it will help to save up to 10 million GP appointments over the next year.
