Moor OT is headed by Amy Barber, a highly experienced Occupational Therapist providing assessments, one-to-one rehabilitation and treatment programmes in your home. Having worked in specialist NHS teams for many years Amy now has the flexibility to work as an independent therapist within the community.
If you have recently been discharged home from hospital, struggle with mobility, have been diagnosed with a life limiting condition or if normal daily activities are becoming difficult or problematic, Amy will guide you to maximise your potential and improve your independence.
Amy has vast experience treating stroke and elderly rehabilitation, head injuries, cognitive rehab, arthritis and hand difficulties, wheelchair and seating assessments, hoisting, bed mobility and equipment and adaptations for around the home. These are just a few of the areas in which she can provide professional guidance.
