One Year Without You, Florentina 💔
We have been dreading this day it’s been looming over us and now that it’s here, it still doesn’t feel real. A whole year without you, our beautiful girl.

Life just isn’t the same without your laughter and your hugs. You are our sunshine Florentina and the world feels dimmer without you here. We still talk about you, we still feel you with us and we still love you more than words can ever say. Every pink sunset every blue sky reminds us of you.

Florentina, you were the bravest most amazing little soul stronger than anyone we’ve ever known. You faced everything with such courage, grace and a smile that could light up the darkest days.

You will always be our little girl. We miss you more than ever and this pain doesn’t get any easier! I would do anything to have you back with us. Love and miss you so much Florentina, forever our hero! 🩷🩵🦋

🍕 Florentina’s Feast Friday’s 🍕

Tonight’s pizza drop is a special one. As we come together to mark one year since our beautiful Florentina passed away. She is held in our hearts every single day. Tonight we honoured her in a way that felt truly special.

Thank you to Real8 Ltd for sponsoring tonights pizza drop, our biggest one with 22 pizzas being delivered this evening! Your kindness has helped us create a moment of warmth and togetherness on a difficult day.

Also a big thank you to Julie who lives in America whose generous donation allowed us to fill the evening with beautiful helium balloons. The children were absolutely delighted and seeing their joy brought a little light into a day marked by remembrance. It was such a touching way to honour Florentina. 🦋

And to our wonderful volunteers, Cassie, Laura and Natasha who certainly had their hands full tonight, thank you for giving your time your hearts and your care tonight. 🥰

Florentina will always be remembered. Tonight’s drop wasn’t just a delivery it was a moment of love, reflection and celebration of a little girl who continues to inspire so much kindness and happiness through her legacy 🍕🎈

Tonight’s full moon is the Super Moon and it feels especially tender. This moon is a little earlier this year but it was under this particular moon that my daughter left this world almost a year ago (15th Nov). Now whenever the moon shines I feel her presence, love and her eternal light shining over us.

🍕 Florentina’s Feast Friday’s 🍕
👻🎃Halloween Special 👻🎃

Tonight’s pizza drop has been a truly special evening, with 14 in total being delivered! Not only because it’s Halloween, but because it was Florentina’s favourite time of year.

A huge thank you to our wonderful sponsors this evening, James and Hannah. James is my brother and he knew how much Florentina adored Halloween. He wanted to honour her by sponsoring and volunteering. We had such fun playing trick or treat with the children in their rooms and handing out chocolate, toys and of course pizza!

For me, this evening has been especially emotional. This time last year was Florentina’s last outing before she became too unwell to leave the house. Looking back, I still don’t know how she found the strength to go out trick or treating, but she was so determined to enjoy it. She dressed up as Wednesday and completely got into character which made her so happy. I had no idea that just 15 days later she would be no longer walking the earth with us 💔. Now I only have these memories to look back on. It makes me feel sick thinking about it, but I’m also so proud of how brave and full of life she was that night.

🎃THANK YOU CAMMAS HALL🎃

Last Friday and I had the pleasure of visiting , who donated 50 pumpkins which we took straight to the hospital. The visit was a great success, with a few memorable photographs taken alongside the Hocus Pocus witches 🧙🔮

We would like to thank for coordinating the arrangements with Cammas Hall and thanking all the staff involved.

Thank you to Sarah for kindly donating all of the pumpkin carving kits.

Thanks to everyone’s efforts and generosity many children in the hospital will be able to enjoy pumpkin carving this Halloween.
