🐴 What Is Wobbler Syndrome in Horses? 🧠

If your horse seems uncoordinated, stumbles often, or moves like they’re “drunk,” it could be wobbler syndrome—a neurological condition caused by spinal cord compression in the neck. This condition is thought to affect 1 in 100 thoroughbreds!

🧬 It’s most common in young, fast-growing horses but can affect any age. Causes include genetics, trauma, or nutritional imbalances.

📋 Diagnosis involves imaging, and while some cases can be managed or treated, others may not recover fully.

If you notice signs, contact your vet ASAP. Early detection matters!
