📣 Announcement: resident doctors are taking strike action from 07:00 on Friday 14 November 2025 and ending at 06:59 on Wednesday 19 November 2025.

Our practice will be operating as normal during the strike action although some GP trainees will also be on strike alongside resident doctors.

We kindly ask for your patience as local healthcare teams work diligently to handle a high volume of calls and prioritise care.
We will contact you if we need to rearrange any appointments. If you have not been told otherwise, please continue to attend any booked appointments.

Our phone lines are likely to be even busier than normal, so please be patient as practice staff try to help as many people as they can.

If you have a computer or smartphone, you can use the NHS App or our e-consultation service, which directs your query quickly to the right member of practice staff and helps free up the telephone lines for those who aren’t online.

💙 The Mid Essex Recovery College has released its November and December timetables. 💙

💙 This term offers a wide range of free, face-to-face and online courses designed to support mental health recovery and wellbeing. 💙

About the courses:
💙 All courses are co-produced by people with lived experience of mental health challenges and professionals working in the field. They provide safe, inclusive spaces for people to develop new skills, share experiences, and build confidence at their own pace.

💙 Courses are open to anyone aged 18 and over who has experienced mental health challenges, supports someone who has, or would simply like to learn more about mental health and wellbeing.

Braintree Area food Bank are running the Reverse Advent calendar

The reverse Advent calendar encourages people to collect the food items from each day and donate them in time for Christmas. You will notice that there are no Christmas items on the list this year and this is because we need basic food items for a meal on Christmas day for a whole family.
