If you’ve been invited, please book your appointment. Cervical Screening is a simple test that helps prevent cervical cancer.

📅We know weekdays can be difficult, so we’re now offering Saturday appointments at the Livewell Hub.

📞You can book these through your GP surgery. Spaces are still available for Saturday 23rd August and Saturday 6th September.

⏳The test only takes a few minutes, but it could save your life. Call your surgery to book today.

Don't delay, book your screening appointment today!

The Breast Cancer Screening Bus will be leaving Braintree at the end of September, so if you've been putting off your screening, now's the time to act!

Early detection is crucial , and we want to make sure everyone eligible has easy access to this vital service. If you're due for a mammogram and haven't booked yet, please don't delay.

You will still be able to access a breast screening appointment at your local hospital.

🗓️Let's Talk About Missed Appointments 🗓️

Last month, 121 appointments were missed at The Braintree PCN, LiveWell Hub. That's 121 times a doctor, nurse, physiotherapist or other healthcare professional was ready to help, but their time wasn't used.

We understand that sometimes things come up, and you might genuinely not be able to make your appointment. If you can't make it, let us know as soon as possible. This allows us to offer that slot to another patient who needs it.

You can cancel or rebook your appointment with The Braintree PCN at the Livewell Hub by:

➡️Emailing us at braintree.pcn@nhs.net - include your name, DOB and date and time of the appointment you wish to cancel.

➡️Calling your GP practice directly

Living with and caring for someone with dementia can be challenging. You might find that you need support to cope and the Braintree PCN Dementia Drop In is a great starting point.

Join us this Thursday, July 3rd, at 10 AM. We'll have refreshments ready for you, and while it's going to be another warm one, please remember to bring a drink for your journey to stay hydrated! We look forward to seeing you.

What a fantastic turnout on Saturday! Despite the heat, almost 60 patients from the Braintree PCN joined us for our first-ever cardiovascular event.

A huge shout-out to our Transformation Lead, Lucy, for hosting such an important and successful day. Patients had access to vital health checks, weight loss advice, stop smoking services, and social prescribing advice.

Thank you to our HCAs, Nutritionists, Christchurch Pharmacy, Tesco and The Freshwell Low Carb Community - and to everyone who came along and took steps towards a healthier heart! ❤️

Swiftqueue and Provide services will still be operating from the Livewell Hub. However, the PCN and Mount Chambers desk will be closed.
