💞 A message from Sarah- Business Leader at site 💞
I had the pleasure of visiting The Braintree Hub yesterday ....wow what a lovely place to go.
Tina (The Founder) explained why she wanted to open this hub up, alongside The Witham Hub, & i'm truly inspired by her story. Due to her own personal circumstances, she wanted to do something which had a purpose, within the local communities we live in.
Whilst I was there, I even joined up to become a member of the Hub !! For just £5 a year....yes JUST £5... this entitles you to get discounted food & drinks within the cafe.....& even Afternoon Tea's 😋.
The supermarket on site allows people to purchase fresh & frozen items, household goods, clothing, toiletries, all at a massively reduced cost & they also have boxes of vegetables outside for free, however if you wish to make a donation you can.
The Hub is open to everyone (you don't need to be a member), so if you want a cup of tea, coffee, cold drink, doughnut, cake, pastry, sandwich, go in & support them for a minimal cost/donation so the Hub can continue to support those who want a safe, warm space to just either be by themselves or to talk to someone, as they are also part of the Chatty Cafe Scheme, which is just a wonderful idea.
The team are so lovely & friendly & will be there to help you in anyway they can.
