Right… let’s talk about those phases no one really shows you…

The ones where you just cannot be bothered.

Because here’s the truth…

You are NOT meant to feel motivated all the time.

And in midlife?
With hormones shifting, sleep all over the place, stress through the roof…

Of course your energy and motivation will ebb and flow.

That’s not failure.
That’s physiology.

But here’s where most people go wrong…

They stop completely.

And that’s what makes it harder to come back.

So instead of going all-or-nothing…
this is what actually works 👇

My Top Tips When You’ve Lost Your Mojo:

Lower the bar.
Not every workout needs to be an hour.
10 minutes still counts. Movement still counts.

Stick to non-negotiables.
A walk. A stretch. A quick session.
Keep something ticking over daily.

Ditch the “I should be doing more” mindset.
You’re not who you were 10 years ago… and that’s OK.
Train the body you have today.

Focus on how you feel AFTER.
Because let’s be honest… you rarely regret moving your body.

Create easy wins.
Put your trainers on. Step outside. Press play.
Make it so simple you can’t talk yourself out of it.

💪 BENEFITS OF STRENGTH TRAINING FOR MEN OVER 40

You know you’re over 40 when standing up sounds like a percussion solo from some dodgy 80’s rock band wearing snakeskin.
