Some Beauty Room News

Since opening our doors to our fantastical clients back in 2004, we have strived to ensure that the treatments and services we offer continue to provide the best value. We have endeavoured to avoid price increases wherever possible, but inevitably and as with many other businesses, increasing market costs means now and again we have no choice but to review our prices and the way that we offer our treatments and services to you.

As you’ll no doubt be aware, earlier this year we consolidated our opening hours to Monday’s, Tuesday’s, Wednesdays and Saturday mornings, this meant we could be more efficient with our time, products and energy costs which in turn enabled us to stave off price increases.

In order to make the business even more efficient, we have now decided to introduce a booking deposit scheme for all the treatments and services we offer.

This type of scheme is nothing new, many businesses operate the same or something similar e.g. hairdressers, dentists and high street beauty salons etc., and it will very likely have very little or no impact on you.

Here are the details:

- A £10 deposit will be payable at the time that an appointment(s) is (are) booked.

- Appointments will be confirmed on receipt of a £10 deposit.

- If an appointment is cancelled and/or a treatment is changed less than 48 hours from the appointment date/time, the £10 deposit will be forfeited.

- If appointments are kept and/or treatments are not changed within 48 hours of the appointment date/time, the £10 will be deducted from the cost of your treatment.

- If you have booked a number of appointments, then a £10 deposit will only need to be paid when the first appointment is made, and will rollover to the next unless an appointment is cancelled or a treatment changed within 48 hours of the appointment date/time.

For more information, please don't hesitate to ask during your treatment.

***The beauty rooms Christmas 2023 charity fundraiser***

We are happy to announce that this year we will be making variety packs of ‘not for profit’ handcrafted Christmas cards available for sale. Cards include loose/self adhesive inserts and bespoke envelopes.

Each variety pack of 10 Christmas themed cards will be available for £10, with £1 from each pack going towards charity. The remaining £9 will be re invested, allowing us to handcraft more cards in support of worthwhile causes.

Packs will be pre wrapped (eg in brown paper with tag), and will include cards of different designs, styles, colours and sizes.

We are sure that you will love these beautiful cards, and your loved ones, family and friends will love receiving and displaying them.

Please feel free to request a pack at your next appointment, and we look forward to seeing you very soon.

In a further effort to control costs, we have made the decision to consolidate appointments to Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays until further notice (although some existing appointments on other days will be honoured). Approximately the same amount of appointments will be available to you, but we would encourage you to book in advance to avoid disappointment and to ensure your regular slot, whether it be every few weeks, every month, or every few months, is maintained.

Remember, high street and shopping centre beauty salons can be inconvenient, busy, impersonal and extremely over priced, especially in these inflationary times!

Book a great value treatment at the beauty room and enjoy a friendly, personal, convenient, and truly unique beauty treatment experience.
