Today, our wonderful Customer Relations Manager, Lynda, proudly represented Riverdale Care Home at the Pop-Up 360 event in Braintree Freeport Village.

The regular event is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness, answer questions, and showcase the specialist support we offer, ensuring our residents live with dignity, respect, and a genuine sense of belonging.

Join us for a FREE Virtual Dementia Tour on Tuesday 26th August 2025, 1:30–4:30pm, delivered by specialist provider Training 2 Care UK Ltd. This experience helps you see the world through the eyes of someone living with dementia — and learn simple, practical changes that can make a real difference.

🎉 Each year, Westgate Healthcare celebrates the joy of gardening with our Westgate in Bloom competition. This year’s theme was “Countries Around the World,” inspiring each home to design a unique wheelbarrow garden representing a different country.

Residents played a central role from planting to final display, making it a true team effort. Huge congratulations to Byron House for their stunning French-themed garden that wowed the judges!

Yesterday our residents attended a reflective and musical church service by colleagues from St Michaels Church.

They enjoyed listening to the readings, singing along to the hymns as well as the guitar music.

Having the opportunity for our residents to be able to continue practicing and celebrating their spirituality and faith is a vital part of their wellbeing and is supported and encouraged.
