Today we took our amazing residents from The New Deanery Care Home out for a truly lovely local trip, and what a day it turned out to be 💜

We headed to the Bocking Village May Day Fair, where there was so much to see and enjoy. From the colourful stalls to the sweet treats and lively atmosphere, it was wonderful seeing everyone taking it all in and sharing plenty of smiles along the way 🎡✨

We also made time to visit St. Mary's Church, Bocking , which brought a calm and peaceful moment to the day. It was a lovely contrast to the bustle of the fair and gave our residents a chance to pause, reflect and enjoy the quiet beauty of the surroundings ⛪️

Throughout the trip there was laughter, conversation and so many little moments of joy. A huge thank you to our wonderful team for making the outing so smooth and special, and for ensuring everyone felt included and supported every step of the way 💜

April didn’t feel like one big moment across our homes, but lots of smaller ones and that’s what made it so special 💜

There were Easter crafts, feasts, time spent outside as the weather picked up, and plenty of conversations sparked along the way. We also took time to recognise Autism Acceptance Week and Parkinson’s Awareness Week, creating space to learn, reflect and support one another.

St George’s Day brought a bit of fun and familiarity too, with simple touches that made people smile 🏴

It’s these everyday moments that shape life in our homes, not just the celebrations, but the time spent together in between.

A big thank you, as always, to our teams for everything they do to make those moments happen

We had another lovely Joybirds party this week at The New Deanery Care Home , with the super talented Hollie-Blue filling our home with music 🎶

There was such a warm, cheerful buzz in the room as our wonderful residents enjoyed the singing, a few familiar tunes, and plenty of little chats along the way. With light refreshments being shared and our raffle bringing a bit of excitement, it felt like one of those afternoons where everyone just settles in and enjoys the moment 💜

Joybirds is our monthly get together, held on the last Wednesday of each month, and it is always something our residents look forward to. It is relaxed, friendly and full of smiles, with everyone made to feel right at home

We would love to see some new faces next time. Will you be joining us? 😊

We made the most of the sunshine today, and our garden was looking its absolute best 🌞🌼

Our lovely residents enjoyed a gentle stroll among the colourful flowers, stopping here and there to take it all in. There were plenty of smiles, a few quiet moments on the benches, and lots of laughter shared in the warm afternoon air. Some even took a closer look at the blooms, admiring all the little details that make our garden so special.

It’s amazing how a bit of sunshine and fresh air can lift everyone’s mood. Days like this remind us how much these simple moments together mean 💜

Have you been enjoying the sunshine where you are? 🌷

March has been a truly special month across our homes, filled with meaningful celebrations and shared experiences that have brought residents and teams together ✨

From raising awareness during Nutrition and Hydration Week to enjoying the energy and fun of St Patrick’s Day, there has been something for everyone to take part in. We also proudly celebrated International Women’s Day, recognising the inspiring women within our communities, and marked Mother’s Day with thoughtful moments of love, gratitude, and reflection 🌷 🚺 🍎 🍀

Life across our 46 homes is shaped by these moments, both big and small. They create a sense of belonging, spark conversation, and bring joy to everyday life, making each home a vibrant and supportive place to live 🏡💜

Behind every celebration is the dedication and care of our incredible teams, whose passion continues to create engaging and meaningful experiences for our residents 👏💜
