So many mamas feel alone in their C-section recovery - but they don’t have to, not when someone like is in the room.
We had the beautiful Simona from Powellfit join our baby yoga mamas to talk all things C-section recovery, and her presence was exactly what our group needed.
There were 15 mamas in class, and 9 of them had delivered via C-section. I knew this conversation would matter. Having a C-section can be such an emotional journey, and I’m always careful about who I invite into our space — someone who can hold mamas with gentleness, understanding, and real expertise.
And honestly… Simona was an angel.
Her compassion, her true passion for supporting women, and her incredible knowledge shone through every moment. She held space so beautifully, giving mums the chance to share their experiences and worries with comfort and confidence.
She guided us through:

It was honest, reassuring and deeply empowering for our mamas.
I’ll always keep our sessions bespoke to the women in the room — and having Simona with us reminded me how powerful the right support can be 💜
