Dear Patients,
It is with sadness that we announce that Dr Ilaria Barabucci will be leaving Mount Chambers to take up a similar position closer to her home.
Dr Barabucci relocated from Chelmsford to Cambridge nearly two years ago and has continued to commute to the practice throughout this time, often facing long and challenging journeys.
Dr Barabucci has been a valued member of the Mount Chambers team for six years. She joined us as a Registrar in February 2020, completed her training with the practice, and, due to her dedication and the high regard in which she was held by both patients and colleagues, was appointed as a salaried GP in March 2023.
Following her qualification as a GP, Dr Barabucci also completed a Diabetes Fellowship. She has since provided complex diabetes reviews for our patients, a service that has been extremely popular and invaluable to the practice.
We are pleased to confirm that we have recruited a new GP who will be joining us in June. In the meantime, patients will continue to be supported by the wider team of doctors.
We are incredibly grateful for Dr Barabucci’s contribution over the years and wish her every success in her new role.
