Today’s session was full of energy, teamwork, and plenty of giggles as our residents paired up for a fun balance and coordination activity! 🤝✨

With one resident on each end, they mirrored each other's movements — building strength, improving balance, and most importantly, connecting through movement. 💙💚💛❤️

Our residents and their families had a truly special afternoon exploring the iconic Coronation Street set. From walking the cobbled streets to standing outside the legendary Rovers Return, it was a day filled with laughter, nostalgia, and pure joy. 💛

Here at Bramhall Manor, we're celebrating the little things that make life delicious — sunshine, music, laughter… and sizzling hot dogs! 😋

Our wonderful residents have been soaking up the excitement of the Tour de France—without even leaving their armchairs! 🏡✨

Thanks to our friends at Oomph!, we’ve been diving into Tour de France booklets full of fascinating facts, fun quizzes, and French-themed activities. From learning about the history of the race to sampling a bit of French culture, it's been a magnifique way to stay engaged and entertained! 📚🥐🎉

🎉 Exciting News from Bramhall Manor & Cheadle Manor! 🎉

We’re thrilled to announce the promotion of the incredible Sammy Jacklin to Senior Wellbeing Coordinator, working across both Bramhall Manor Care Centre and Cheadle Manor Care Centre - Stockport in Stockport! 💛

Sammy has been part of our care family since 2020, starting her journey at Cheadle Manor as a carer and quickly rising through the ranks thanks to her dedication, compassion, and passion for resident wellbeing.

In her new role, Sammy will lead and manage engaging daily activities, exciting events, and community trips that support the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of all our residents – across residential, nursing and dementia care. 🧘‍♀️🎨🚌

She will also mentor our amazing wellbeing teams and work closely with families to maintain personalised wellbeing plans, making sure every resident continues to feel connected, fulfilled, and truly at home.

Sammy says:
👉 “My goal is to bring joy, purpose and connection to every day for our residents at both homes. It’s a real privilege to be part of such a caring community.”

At Bramhall Manor Care Centre, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming students from Cheadle Hulme School for a special gardening session! 🌿🌼

Residents and students worked side by side, planting flowers, swapping stories, and sharing smiles. It was a beautiful day full of laughter, learning, and genuine connection across generations. 💬💚

Moments like these remind us how powerful community and kindness can be. Thank you to the wonderful students (and their teachers!) for bringing so much joy to our home. 🌸🌱
