Meet Our Children and Young Persons Team
Dr Hema Ramalingam is a consultant child & adolescent psychiatrist in a local CAMHS service and also works in paediatric liaison. She specialises in assessment and management of neurodevelopmental conditions like ADHD and autism in addition to managing common psychiatric disorders in children and young people. She is also experienced in working with children and young people with intellectual disabilities, speech and language difficulties and learning difficulties.
Dr Rajiv Mittal has been working in paediatrics for over 30 years. Dr Mittal has managed cases in general paediatrics, including children with developmental delays, cerebral palsy, neurodevelopmental problems such as attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism and also non-accidental injuries. He has been managing children with ADHD since 2007. He has extensive experience in ADHD management. Dr Mittal is involved in teaching medical students, foundation doctors and paediatric trainees in various topics in paediatrics including ADHD. He also delivers training in ADHD management to the GPs in the region. He provides multiagency safeguarding training to the police, professionals in health, education, and other agencies.
Dr Sree Ukkadam is a Consultant Neurodevelopmental Paediatrician who has more than 20 years of experience in the field of paediatrics and more than 10 years as a Consultant in Community Paediatrics and Neurodisability. She has worked in tertiary London hospitals including Great Ormond Street. She has vast experience in diagnosing and treating children and adolescents with ADHD, managing children with intellectual impairment and special needs in special schools, global developmental delay, cerebral palsy and various neurodevelopmental conditions like diagnosing autism, dyspraxia and conducting safeguarding medicals for children. She is also the Medical Advisor for adoption and fostering children in the local borough.
