How many times can I donate s***m?

We ask our donors to donate s***m once a week, for up to six months, which equals around 20-30 donations. You can do this at one of our local and accessible s***m banks, whichever is the most convenient for you:

📍 Wigan

Remember, you get £45 per clinic visit as compensation for your time, travel, and expenses.

To become a registered s***m donor with us, you must:

🎂 Be aged between 18 and 45

🔬 Be willing to be screened regularly for medical conditions

💪 Be in good health, with no known serious medical disability or family history of hereditary disorders

🧾 Be able to find out (or already know) your immediate family medical history

🤝 Beprepared to donate only to Semovo, regularly, which can be for several months

⚠ Take measures to avoid putting yourself at risk of STIs

Don’t forget that if you’re successful, you’ll receive £45 compensation for your time and expenses for each visit to our clinics.

Have you heard that compensation for s***m donors is increasing? 💪

From 1 October 2024, s***m donors will now receive £45 compensation per clinic visit for their time, commitment, and expenses in helping others on their paths to parenthood.

The Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) has recommended this change after donor compensation had remained the same for more than 10 years. The increase is not just a financial adjustment in line with inflation and the cost of living; it's an acknowledgement of the substantial commitment required from donors.
