🅿 Parking Charge Notices incorrectly issued for parking at Cumberland Infirmary
We are aware of an error where a large number of people who parked at Cumberland Infirmary (CIC) between 26th July – 4th August 2025 have been sent a letter incorrectly stating that they did not pay for parking.
This has understandably caused stress for those who have been incorrectly sent a Parking Charge Notice (PCN). We have had assurance from Parkmaven, who are responsible for parking charges at CIC, that all of these charges will be cancelled and anyone who has mistakenly paid the PCN will be fully reimbursed. Parkmaven have stated the issue has now been resolved and have taken steps to ensure this does not happen again.
Actions to take if you have incorrectly received a PCN for parking at CIC between 26th July – 4th August:
➡Do not appeal - your PCN will be cancelled automatically and you will receive a letter as confirmation.
➡If you have already appealed you do not need to take further action.
➡If you have paid the fine - you will be refunded.
We are sorry for any distress or inconvenience this has caused, and we are working with our contractors to make sure this does not happen in the future.
