We're delighted to announce that our newest care home, The Manor House Roundhay in Leeds, has won Knight Frank's 2026 Luxury Care Home Award

The home was designed and developed by Hadrian Healthcare Group and offers first class residential and dementia care.

Residents enjoy high quality accommodation and a wide range of impressive facilities including a hairdressing and beauty salon, café bar and private dining room.

Each submission into the Luxury Care Home Awards is reviewed to identify facilities that exemplify luxury, innovation and outstanding care.

Silver Sunday is a national day where people of all ages can come together to host fun activities and events for older people. It's a day for older people to try something new, meet new people and connect with their community.

Our care homes are very much part of their local communities and activities that help residents maintain important bonds and relationships with other people and groups in the area are actively encouraged. We'll be sharing how they celebrated the day in future posts 💜

ST Phillips Court is a lovely friendly scheme that offers affordable housing for over 55-year-olds.
You can live independently, or you can enjoy the company of others in our Communal Lounge. We have coffee mornings , Bingo, exercise, and a walking group with other events throughout the year.

We have an on-site location manager working Monday to Friday and Anchor call emergency service when the manager is not on site , beautiful gardens and an outsize seating area gardeners and window cleaning is included in the rent.

We had a lovely morning at Union Court this morning, thanks to Carl from Equans for putting the plaque in place.

Union Court in Brampton Cumbria was once a hostel for the 100 children who were evacuated from the Basque region of Spain after the bombing of Guernica during the Spanish civil war. 4000 children were sent on the SS Habana in May 1937 to the UK arriving in Southampton.

The were housed in the old workhouse where Union Court is currently situated. They stayed there until 1939.

The plaque is to thank the people of Brampton for housing these children and the support they gave them.

Carmen is 95 years old pictured in the photos and the anniversary of their arrival is in May.

People travelled from as far as Sheffield today, a History Lecturer from Lancaster University attended, as well as one of the hostels teachers son, along with members of the local History Society.
