I took some time last night to just be 'mindful'. Mindfulness is often made to sound like a complicated practice but it is a lot easier to integrate than you think. Mindfulness is about being in the moment, listening, feeling, breathing. The act of recognising that your thoughts are wandering and bringing it back to your breath or realising that you've been listening to the leaves rustle, the birds sing, your breath as it enters and leaves your body is mindful.

Take your time today to practice, I promise, it will make you feel better πŸ’•

It's important to remember, our lives are not competitions, they're our own. Comparing ourselves to others only fuels anxiety, inferiority and a feeling of failure. Reframe your thinking and start to look at things anew. What are you grateful for? What are you proud of? What do you love about yourself?

When you start this positive thinking, your journey gains momentum and you start to attract the positives you hope for.

EFT tapping is a great way to help to move stagnant energy out of the body and help you to think and feel differently. If you are interested in EFT or have any questions, please get in touch.

Would there be any interest in a parent and child mindfulness and meditation course? This would be a 6 week course, once a week and focus on supporting children with how to relax and reset and helping their parents to do the same. The course would be held in Lambley on a Sunday morning.

Meditation is a great way to reset your nervous system, improve sleep and reduce stress.

My classes welcome everyone from beginners to seasoned pros. Classes are 45 minutes long and we begin by slowing things down whilst focusing on our breath. This is followed by some energy work which leads into a guided meditation.

The class is warm and welcome and I would urge you to come and give it a try, it might just be what you've been looking for.

Join me for a beautiful guided meditation on Wednesday night in Alston Masonic Hall at 7.15pm. During my 45 minute class, you will be taken on a journey of deep calm and relaxation, helping you to reset your nervous system and feel deeply at peace.

You don't need experience, simply bring along a mat, pillow and blanket and let me help you with the rest. All are welcome, whether you're a complete beginner or experienced meditator.

This week's class is in the Masonic Hall in Alston on Wednesday at 7.15pm and is suitable for all levels. I will be leading a guided meditation, focusing on relaxing all aspects of the body. It is Β£7 per class, all you need is a mat, pillow and blanket and all are welcome πŸ€—
