When life feels heavy, the woods offer a silence you simply can’t find anywhere else. When was the last time you truly switched off? I am so pleased to announce that my new Forest Bathing+ sessions at Worcester Woods Country Park are now open for booking.

These sessions are an invitation to slow down, leave the screens behind, and simply be. Forest Bathing+, or Shinrin-yoku, is about showering your senses in the forest atmosphere. It is a guided practice that helps you reconnect with nature on a deep level; a much-needed reset for the soul.

There is real science behind the peace; spending time among trees can lower stress hormones, boost your immunity, and quieten a busy mind. It is a natural reset for your nervous system. We spend 2 to 3 hours moving very slowly over short distances. All you need are sturdy shoes, warm layers, and a curious heart.

Places are limited to keep our group small and the experience intimate. I would love to walk with you.

Would you believe me if I said my favourite walks around the Worcestershire countryside have saved my sanity more times than bootcamp workouts ever did? There’s a quiet magic in gentle movement: the way my mind clears when I stroll instead of sprint, pausing for changing leaves or the odd friendly robin. I find myself breathing easier, laughing at thoughts without judgement, and feeling far more alive. Sometimes, slowing down is the boldest act of self-care. Forget chasing fitness trends; I’m chasing my own peace and presence!

Ever felt like your mind is doing that thing where it replays every awkward moment since 2009… right when you’re trying to relax?

On Sunday 8th Feb (12:30pm to 4pm) at Zenergy Wellness in Bromsgrove, I’m guiding a gentle half-day workshop called Let Go Within; a safe, supportive space to put down some of the emotional weight you’ve been carrying.

What is it you want to let go of most? A relationship that needs healing (with yourself or someone from your past/present), a habit or belief that's holding you back - you choose, without justification or judgement!

We’ll move through:
• Journalling (yes, bring your journal and a pen)
• Conscious Connected Breathwork
• Deep rest with Yoga Nidra
• A soothing Sound Bath

This is all about emotional release without having to overthink it or share openly with others. Just breathe, feel, and let your body do what it already knows how to do.

£45, and it includes tea and cake (because healing is always better with cake).

Well no surprise, I’m here doing a location scout and site specific risk assessment in preparation for upcoming forest bathing sessions. This will be in addition to those I’ll be offering back at Nunnery Wood, Worcester Country Park. Dates and booking info coming soon.

Is there anyone else who gets so excited at the idea of the sun making a comeback that you want to throw confetti? Today marks the Winter Solstice; the longest night has passed, and now, little by little, light returns. I always find myself craving that gentle glow and pause to soak it in: sometimes it’s just a tiny shaft of sunlight on my carpet, but I’ll take it.

For me, this is the perfect moment to lean in to slower rhythms and remind myself that brighter days are coming, even when it feels impossible. How are you honouring the turning of the year? Lighting a candle, taking an extra deep breath, maybe slipping outside to watch the sunrise with cold toes and a warm mug? I’d love to hear your rituals, big or small.
