I am sad to say goodbye to Baby & Me.

It was created during nap times, sleepless nights and alongside my journey into Motherhood and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

But we grow, we change and we evolve in all areas of our life and now just feels right. So I would like to introduce you to my new business...

SEASONS OF WOMAN.

Just as the seasons change and flow into one another, a woman’s life moves in cycles too. There are times of growth, times of fullness and times when the body asks for rest and restoration. Honouring these natural rhythms can help you feel more balanced, supported, and at ease within yourself. Through nurturing massage and gentle wellbeing support you’re given the space to slow down, listen to your body and receive the care you need in each season of your life.

Over the next few weeks I will be continuing to slowly transition from Baby & Me to Seasons of Woman but all appointments and services remain unaffected.

I can't wait to welcome you.

How do you feel about change?

Change can be really difficult but you know when it feels right.

Baby and me was born 11 years ago during a difficult time in my life. I had just been made redundant from my job as a secondary school teacher and had absolutely no idea what I should do or how we were going to survive.

Becoming a mother is a time of such huge growth and transition and it felt like an opportunity to reflect on what really mattered to me.

My family were my priority, creating a life that would allow me to never miss my babies "firsts" was a priority and supporting women during one of the most significant shifts in their life was a priority and so I decided to create a business that could support mums and babies, create a sense of community and connection that would nurture and hold space for women on their Motherhood journey.

Over the years I have been honoured to have supported so many of you on this journey but lately I've been feeling a shift to support women at all stages of their life and help them to feel more at home in their body, more connected to themselves and to what matters to them and so it's time for a change.

I will still be offering massage and scar therapy but both of my businesses will come together under one roof with a new name, fresh look and ability to offer a more holistic, deeper and well rounded way in which I can support you with your health and wellbeing regardless of which season of your life your are in.

So I thank you for your support over the last incredible 11 years and can't wait to continue to support you through all of the moments still to come.

Hayley xx

As a busy mum you're chasing around after everybody else's needs...what about yours?

Now drop that guilt...I know it crept in a bit when you started to let yourself think about yourself briefly!

Just pause

Drop your shoulders

Soften your jaw

Close your eyes and take a nice deep breath in through your nose and really slowly exhale out through your mouth, long and slow.

Repeat this lovely slow calming breath a few times and just tune into what your body actually needs from you today.

Is it rest? Is it movement? Is it nourishing food? What do you truly need to support yourself today Mama?

You can't pour from an empty cup.

This is your permission to pause.

I got you.

As a busy mum balancing family life and work everything changed when I prioritised these three things...

1: NO MORE GUILT. As mums we feel guilty about everything! The list of what we feel guilty for is endless, often unnecessary and unhelpful. If you feel guilty a lot take some time to explore why you are feeling this way, think about what you would tell a friend in this position and give show your self a bit more self kindness.

2: PRIORITISE SMALL MOMENTS OF SELF CARE EVERYDAY. Prioritising daily acts of self care from a walk in the fresh air to clear my mind and boost my energy levels or a quiet cup of tea on my own in the garden whilst the baby naps, a facemask, a chapter of my book with some yummy chocolate, whatever gives you a moment to focus on you is worth the time and effort . Building daily self-care activities into your everyday life helps to improve both mental and physical health and keeps the tank topped up rather than running yourself to empty and neededin a lengthy recharge because you are burntout.

3: CONNECTION: When you are exhausted and busy sometimes the last thing you want to do is be sociable but actually being around the right kind of people can lift your soul and when women support one another that's where the true magic happens. Find your tribe, your village, your circle whatever you want to call it... make time to speak to that mum on the school run, in the park, at a weekly class and connect. Loneliness has a huge impact on your overall wellbeing, be brave and make some meaningful connections the kind that tell you to come as you are.

When you focus on building in tiny moments of care every single day it feels more manageable to 'fit in', helps you to create a little more balance and stops your energy from being completely depleted every single day which can lead to burnout.

Which of these would be most helpful for you to focus on right now? Tell me in the comments!

So many women are feeling lost, overwhelmed and burnt out right now

Trying to juggle it all, so busy doing alllll the things

Feeling a little lost and disconnected

That permanent feeling of exhaustion

That sense of not knowing who you are any more

And it's crept up on you slowly over time...weighing you down quietly so that it has become your new normal

It's not your fault

You're not failing

Our society has set a pace of life that was never going to be sustainable and you have been swept up in the tidal wave of DOING

But how would it feel to just press pause for a moment?

To catch your breath, to rest and reset, changing habits that no longer serve you and creating new healthier habits that will help you to feel calmer, nourished and to protect your peace and energy...

If this resonates with you I am looking for 8 women who are serious about making time for themselves and bringing moments of stillness and calm whilst rediscovering their sense of self.

If this sounds like the pause you need then DM me the word CALM for more information.

Just breathe...

Within my massage, mindfulness and hypnobirthing practices I often encourage clients to focus on their breath.

The way we use our breath can have a huge impact on how we think and feel

Helping to calm the nervous system before, during and after a massage treatment...

Breathing through contractions to keep your muscles more relaxed, less tense and make birthing more comfortable...

Helping to clear the mind, and reduce feelings of stress and anxiety when things feel hard...

Our breath really is a simple and incredibly effective wellbeing tool that when we know how to harness it's power it can be used to support us both physically and mentally in our everyday life.

Tomorrow I am attending a soulful breathwork CPD day which I am really looking forward too to help me elevate both my personal and professional practice and offerings.

Can't wait to share it with you ✨

April is C-section Awareness Month.

After two C-section births, I know just how much this journey can ask of you physically, mentally and emotionally.

My first birth left me feeling unprepared and disconnected. Recovery felt harder than I expected and was told the physical symptoms I was experiencing was just my “new normal”.

My second birth looked more complicated on paper but it felt completely different.

Why?

Because I was more prepared. I understood my options, supported my body, and felt more in control.

Later, when I experienced pain and tension in my body, I discovered the impact scar tissue can have and that kick started everything for me.

Now, I support women to feel more calm, confident and connected through their C-section journey both before and after birth.

If you’re a C-section mama, please remember:

✨ Your birth matters
✨ You are incredibly strong
✨ It is not the “easy way out”
✨ Ongoing pain or discomfort doesn’t have to be your new normal

Be gentle with yourself Mama, you deserve support every step of the way 💕

Check out my online C-section hypnobirthing course or book yourself in for your initial scar therapy appointment to start your own recovery journey today.

01/04/2026

My Facebook memories showed me today that it was 11 years ago that I went into the school I was employed at as a teacher to let my students know that I wouldn't be returning as I'd been made redundant whilst on maternity leave with a newborn baby.

This was an incredibly difficult part of my life. Feelings of worry, anxiety, depression, rejection and fear were at the forefront of my mind. Worrying how on earth I was going to pay my mortgage and get by with a newborn. I knew that I never wanted to feel this way again and it gave me a rare opportunity to reflect on what I actually wanted from this stage of my life and what was important to me.

It was at this point I realised that what mattered to me was that I could be there for my baby, that I had the freedom that I needed to make sure that I never missed any of his 'first moments'.

I also realised that at this time there was such a lack of support for pregnant women and new mums at such a vulnerable time of their lives where they were going through huge changes physically, mentally and spiritually. But there wasn't a space where you could just go and be with other mamas, feel safe, be totally 100% you and where others would just 'get it'.

I knew this was something I had to do and felt so passionately about being able to support women. and to hold that space for them however they arrived...in pjs, covered in baby puke, emotional, on top of the world...my message to them was to just come as you are, we got you.

Over the years I have supported hundreds of women through baby massage, baby yoga, Groovy Babies sling dance classes, pregnancy, postnatal and motherhood massage, scar therapy, hypnobirthing and in so many more ways.

So as I reflect back on the last 11 years from the moment my business was born to where I am now, I want to thank you for being part of this journey.

I am excited to see where the next 11 years take me and as I grow and change and merge into the next season of my life I am excited to share

Welcome to April Mamas 💕
