I would like to say a huge thank you for everyone that came, supported and provided for today’s summer fete at the home. It was a fantastic turnout and I can confirm we raised a whopping £1092.60!!! . Half will be donated to Make a Wish foundation and half will go to the residents comfort fund. Thank You again for all your support.

This afternoon, we welcomed in a lovely gentleman called Bert. Bert is a very talented man who plays the accordion amazingly. It was a fantastic afternoon, Bert can even play the bagpipes with an accordion!!! All of the resident were very impressed, a lot of singing and clapping along, and would love to Bert to return.

All managers of our region including myself will be walking from Crathes castle to Duthie park on 15th August in aid of make a wish foundation.

This is a a cause very close to my heart as the foundation gave my brother the wish of going to Disney when he was diagnosed with non- hodskinsons lymphoma at the age of 12. The nurses and care staff that took him were amazing and made his dreams come true.

This afternoon, Shania and Ron had a lovely stroll around Bearehill estate. Ron very much enjoyed being out and about for some fresh air in the lovely sunshine.
